England under-21 forward Saido Berahino is hoping his recent run in the first team will help his chances of earning a new contract at the Hawthorns. The Burundi-born player has asked for a new deal at West Brom.
The forward, who has played in 3 Premier League games this year as well as scoring 4 goals 2 in League Cup games, is hopeful a deal is on the way.
"We are having talks at the moment and I would like to sign a new deal because I think I'm worth it," said Berahino. "We will have to wait and see but I'm just enjoying what's happening now. "There is no limit to your dreams. It's been a long journey for me and I never want it to end."
