Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway unhappy with Chamakh's dive

29 September 2013 - 04:29

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has shown his disappointment over Marouane Chamakh's apparent dive during the Eagles' 2-0 away defeat to Southampton on Saturday.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni
  • The former Arsenal forward went down in the box insisting that he was fouled, only to be awarded a yellow card for his simulation.  <br /><br />Holloway told reporters: <em>"Chamakh looks to have dived which I'm not too happy about.</em><br />

<em>"He went over far too easily. I cannot understand why he didn't shoot or chip it. If he would have scored everything would have been different."<br /><br />"He thinks the keeper caught him, I'm not annoyed at him, but I'm not an advocate of what he did. When he sees it back he would have thought he should have shot."</em><br /><br />Palace are currently placed 19th in the Premier League, having suffered a hat-trick of defeats.
