Arsenal and Man City eye move for Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus

03 October 2013 - 13:52

Arsenal and Manchester City are set to battle for the signature of Borussia Dortmund's talented midfielder Marco Reus, according to reports from various sources.

  • Arne Slot confirms big Liverpool injury blow
  • Bournemouth close to signing Chelsea defender?

  • The 24 year old had an excellent first season with the Bundesliga giants, having netted 19 goals in all competitions since his switch from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Reus has attracted interest from a number of top European clubs since the summer, but the club's Chief Executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has insisted that it would be difficult for any side to prise away their talented youngster.

It will be interesting to see whether the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City will make a transfer offer for the German star, who has a massive £34m release clause.
