Liverpool are reportedly looking to add Atletico Madrid midfielder to their ranks in the January transfer window.

According to talkSPORT, the Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has ignited his interest on the La Liga midfielder, having failed to sign fellow teammate Diego Costa during the summer transfer window.<br />

It is believed that Liverpool would offer a transfer fee in the region of &pound;17m for the talented Spaniard, which could be well below Atletico's evaluation for the player.<br />

Koke who came through the Atletico Madrid youth ranks, has been capped by Spain three times.
