Rene Adler open to Arsenal switch

Hamburg goalkeeper Rene Adler has admitted that he is open to a switch to the Gunners in the January transfer window, as per The Metro.

  • Adler has been a long-term target for the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, with the North London outfit associated with a switch for the shot stopper last summer.



    The German International goalie has hinted that he would be open to a switch to the Gunners, as he aims to play the beautiful game in undoubtedly the World's best football league.



    ‘I’d like to play in England in the future. You can’t say never in football,' He said.



    ‘Football in England is some kind of religion. The fans, the culture behind the big clubs is very interesting.



    ‘It’s a big honour for me if a club like Arsenal are interested in me.’



    The Gunners would require a transfer fee in the region of £4m to acquire the services of talented goalkeeper.
