Arsenal to bid for Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak?

27 October 2013 - 02:50

Arsenal could be set to make a January bid for Crystal Palace captain Mile Jedinak during the January transfer window, according to reports in England.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The talented Australian International defensive midfielder has been the stand-out performer for the Eagles in their bizarre start to the Premier League campaign, having acquired a single win in their opening nine games, and currently lie 19th in the League table.

The 29-year-old Australian signed for the Premier League strugglers back in 2011 from Turkish club Gençlerbirliği and became a fans' favourite at Selhurst Park during the 2012–2013 Championship season, as he was given the captain's responsibility in the limelight of Paddy McCarthy's long-term injury during the season by former manager Dougie Freedman.

With Jedinak showing off his skills at the highest stage, Arsenal are expected to make a move for the talented Australian star come the January transfer window.
