Anderson told he is free to leave Manchester United

29 October 2013 - 12:19

David Moyes has reportedly told Brazilian defensive midfielder Anderson that he is free to quit Old Trafford once the transfer window reopens in January. The player has so far failed to impress Moyes and has been told he is free to quit the club.

  • The 25-year-old, who has been on the books at Old Trafford since his arrival from Porto back in 2007, has found his first team opportunities limited this year and David Moyes has indicated that Marouane Fellaini is likely to be preferred to Anderson.

The midfielder, who has been linked with a move to Italy with both Juventus and Inter Milan in the race for his coveted signature, has a reported £8 million pricetag.

The player is also ready to quit Old Trafford as he is desperate to play in the World Cup in his homeland next summer; with the midfielder knowing that a lack of regular first team action is likely to hurt his chances.
