On the 1st of January, Blackpool midfielder Tom Ince will be free to speak to clubs abroad. It is understood that both Ajax and Inter Milan are in the race to sign the Blackpool attacking midfielder.
Inter Milan were hopeful that a deal could be agreed with Ince as the club already has family connections with the player's father, Paul Ince, who played for Inter back in the 1990s.
But now reports from the Netherlands indicate that Ajax are ready to make a surprise move for Ince and are confident they can beat Inter Milan to the youngster's coveted signature.
Ince has decided to run his contract down at Blackpool and then make a move to another team once his current deal has expired next summer.
