Newcastle United have been linked with a move for Juventus striker Mirko during the winter transfer window.
The 30-year-old who plays for the Montenegrin national side, joined the Serie A giants in 2011 for a fee of £13m. The versatile striker has failed to accomplish himself in the starting line-up since the arrivals of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente to the Turin outfit during the summer.
Reports in Italy claim that the Italian champions would demand a fee of atleast £10m for the striker who has already attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund in recent weeks.
It will be interesting to see whether Mike Ashley would sanction the move for such a high profile striker , considering he would have no future sell-on value.
