Argentinian midfielder Ever Banega is ready to quit his current club Valencia in the upcoming January transfer window, with reports of interest from both Manchester United and Southampton for the player.
Banega has confirmed in an interview that he is ready to leave the club and reports of a move to Southampton, where fellow countryman Mauricio Pochettino is currently head coach, excite the player.
The player's agent Marcelo Simonian said of Banega's Valencia future: “I can only tell you that we are already talking with several clubs in relation to the next window.
“In the next few days I will be travelling to present all the options to Valencia.”
