Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers have signed Cardiff City forward Joe Mason on a temporary basis until January.
The 22-year-old striker who has notched up 18 goals in 70 appearances for the Bluebirds, joins his fellow teammate Kevin McNaughton in a temporary swap to the Reebok Stadium.
The former Plymouth Argyle forward is expected to complete with the likes of David N'Gog, Jermaine Beckford and Robert Hall for a starting spot in Dougie Freeman's team.
Bolton are unbeaten in their last seven games, and are currently placed 17th in the Championship table.
