Napoli set to battle Man City for Zouma's signature

Italian giants Napoli have joined Manchester City in the race to sign St.Etienne defender Kurt Zouma during the winter transfer window.

The talented Frenchman recently denied reports linking with a move to fierce rivals Lyon, and this has invigorated interest from a number of top European sides.<br />

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is keen on signing the centre back during the winter, as he plans to add depth to his defence setup.<br />

On the other hand, manager Manuel Pellegrini is expected to ramp up interest on the defender during the New Year.<br />

It will be interesting to see where the 19 year old's future lies, come the January transfer window.
