Hull City to make renewed bid for Shane Long

Hull City to make renewed bid for Shane Long

15 November 2013 - 11:37

Hull City are reportedly preparing a bid for West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long during the January transfer window.

  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip
  • Gabriel Magalhaes to sign new Arsenal deal

  • The Tigers manager Steve Bruce missed out on the Republic of Ireland forward during the summer, as the Baggies rebuffed on a £5m deal on transfer deadline day, and The Mirror reports that the Yorkshire outfit will make a renewed transfer offer of £6.5m to land the talented striker during the New Year.

It will be interesting to see how the speculation has an effect on the Baggies manager Steve Clarke, who has stated his intent on keeping Long at the Hawthorns.

Shane Long has scored one goal in eight appearances in the Premier League this season.
