Tottenham's Christian Eriksen in 3 week injury lay off

16 November 2013 - 04:50

Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen will be out of action for at least three weeks after sustaining an ankle injury in yesterday's 2-1 win over Scandinavian rivals Norway.

  • Nottingham Forest agree deal to sign Chelsea target
  • Chelsea now want to sign West Ham star after Joao Pedro

  • The Tottenham star will be sidelined through injury for an unspecified period after the player had to be hauled off during the international game. Eriksen has played in seven games for Tottenham since moving to the club from Ajax.

Denmark's national team manager Morten Olsen confirmed the injury blow: "We don't know if he's out for four or six weeks or how long it will take. It's bad for him at a new club."
