Liverpool set to sign Derby starlet Will Hughes for £12m

Liverpool are reportedly closing in on the signing of  Derby County youngster Will Hughes, according to The Express.

The Merseyside club have been linked with a move for the English starlet for the past few weeks, with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal also having a close eye on the 18-year-old midfielder.<br /><br />The Express claims that the Reds have agreed to meet the Rams' asking price of £12m, and are set to sign the player in the winter transfer window.



Reports elsewhere suggest that Derby County could loan back Will Hughes for the rest of the Championship season, as they fight to win promotion back to the Premier League next season.
