Belgian striker Christian Benteke is expected to be the subject of transfer speculation in the January transfer window, as the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are interested in acquiring his services.

  • Chelsea set to sign midfielder after Danny Welbeck
  • Chelsea confirm striker transfer on two-year deal
  • Benteke was linked with a move to one of the Premier League giants during the summer, until he signed a new long term contract at Villa Park.

In spite of this , reports in England suggest that the 22-year-old could be on his way out of Midlands during the New Year, with the North London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham believed to be willing to open the bidding process for the Premier League hit-man.

A fee in the region of £25m is considered the minimum to lure the Villans in letting their star striker leave the club.

Manchester United are also monitoring the player.
