Manchester United midfielder Anderson has apparently been recommended by new Fulham head coach Rene Meulensteen as a potential loan signing for the London club in January.

  • The Brazilian International has made just five appearances for the Red Devils this season, having been pecked down the selection order following the arrival of Marouane Fellaini and emergence of Belgian starlet Adnan Januzaj.

Meulensteen, who was a former Manchester United coach was appointed to work alongside manager Martin Jol last week and is considered to be a huge fan of the 25-year-old, and has suggested making a loan approach for the midfielder during the New year.

Anderson has earlier started that he is happy to leave the club on a temporary basis in order to earn a place in the Brazilian national squad for next year's FIFA World Cup.
