Manchester United are reportedly willing to make a transfer offer of around £20m for Everton full-back Leighton Baines during the winter transfer window.
The England international has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford ever since David Moyes took over as the Red Devils boss. During the summer, Manchester United failed to test the Merseyside club's resolve with offers worth £10m and £12m.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are preparing a £20m bid in the January transfer window and this is considered as an appreciable fee which could lure the Toffees in selling off the talented defender.
Baines joined Everton from Wigan Athletic in 2007.
