New Crystal Palace boss eyes move for Jordan Rhodes

25 November 2013 - 10:25

New Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis is reportedly considering making a move for Jordan Rhodes, and is ready to test the resolve at Blackburn Rovers with a £6m bid for the player.

 • Chelsea defender back in training ahead of Man Utd game
 • Chelsea keen on re-signing former graduate
 • Rhodes has been in top form the Rovers this season, having scored 10 goals in 16 appearances for the club, and the Eagles manager had the Scotland striker watched at close quarters during Rover's goalless draw with Reading in the Championship last weekend.
Having rebuffed bids for the player from the likes of Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers during the summer, Blackburn are expected to face a tougher task this time round, as Pulis has the adequate transfer budget to tempt the Championship side in letting go of their star forward.
Crystal Palace are currently placed 19th in the Premier League table.
