Chelsea have reportedly started off their negotiations over a £30m January switch for Porto star Jackson Martinez.
Martinez's agent Henrique Pompeo was seen at the English capital having negotiations with Blues chairman Roman Abramovich's deputy Marina Granovskaia.
According to The Mirror, the Primeira Liga champions are willing to part ways with the Colombian star, if they were to fail to qualify for the next stage of the Champions League, a feat which requires an away victory over Spanish giants Atletico Madrid on Match Day 6.
Chelsea, who have been linked with Monaco striker Radamel Falcao in recent weeks, currently consider Martinez as a backup option.
Martinez's current contract with Porto expires in June 2016.
