Manuel Pellegrini unfazed by Sergio Aguero exit talks

02 December 2013 - 04:56

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed speculation linking the club's star striker Sergio Aguero with a switch away from the Etihad in January.

  • Chelsea want to sign Alejandro Garnacho for £30m?
  • Chelsea agree deal to sign wonderkid for €40m

  • The 25-year-old Argentine International, who has been linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid during the New Year , has notched up 15 goals in his last 13 games for the Citizens, leading the Premier League goal charts with 12 goals so far this season.

However, manager Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed the claims stating that the 25-year-old is happy at City.

"I don't know anything about that," He said. "I don't think Sergio wants to leave. That is not a problem for us. I don't believe in that."

Pellegrini had earlier hailed the talented Argentine hitman as the 'best player' in the Premier League.
