04 December 2013 - 06:25

La Liga clubs Real Betis and Valencia will both make a move to sign Liverpool's Spanish forward Iago Aspas on a temporary basis in January.

  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?
  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?

  • The 26-year-old Spaniard, who joined the Merseyside outfit from Celta Vigo during the summer, has failed to live up to the expectations so far, having not scored in six league appearances for the club.

However, it is believed that Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on allowing Aspas leave on loan during the New Year, after failing to impress in the initial part of his Liverpool career, mainly due to his injury proneness.

Reports in Spain suggest that the La Liga duo of Real Betis and Valencia, could make a a loan move for the talented striker, having lost their key players during the summer.
