The 29-year-old Brazilian has been in top form for the La Liga outfit this season, having netted eight goals in all competitions for the club, which includes a hattrick in his side's 3-0 win over Osasuna last weekend.<br />

Report from Diario AS claims that Everton have been tracking the developments of the player at the Mestalla over the past few weeks and are readying a transfer offer for the talented Brazilian when the winter window opens in January.<br />

Reports elsewhere suggest that the Merseyside outfit have already made an offer in the region of &pound;8m for the player, but Valencia have rebuffed the fee as the club value the player at&nbsp;&pound;16m.
