Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu has denied claims linking the La Liga Champions with a summer move for Manchester City's star striker Sergio Aguero.
Recent reports had widely suggested that the Catalan outfit were prepared to make a transfer offer for the Argentine International at the end of the current season.
However, the transfer speculation has been absolved by Barca's vice-president Bartomeu, who has insisted that there has been no communication between the parties over a possible transfer for the player during next summer.
"We don't have any contact with him. I can deny that completely," He said.
Sergio Aguero has been in great form for the Citizens this season, having notched up an impressive 16 goals in as many games in all competitions for the club.
