Coloccini rules out Newcastle exit

Newcastle club captain Fabricio Coloccini has told reporters that he is committed to the club and that he will not seek a move back to Argentina once the transfer window opens again in January.

San Lorenzo were this week linked with a transfer for the centre back amidst reports of Coloccini again being unhappy with life at the Toon Army.<br />

However, the defender has now hit back at these reports and insisted that he is only committed to continuing Newcastle's good form in the league: "It&rsquo;s nothing &ndash; it&rsquo;s old news.&nbsp;The Press sometimes say things I said months ago, not now.<br />

"I respect the fans. When I go on to the pitch, I always give 100 per cent for this shirt because they give me lots of love, and I have to say thank you."
