AS Monaco plot move for Man City captain Vincent Kompany

French giants AS Monaco are preparing a transfer offer of around £17m, in order to acquire the services of Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany during next summer.

  • French newspaper L'Equipe claims that Claudio Ranieri will make an ambitious attempt to land the signature of the talented Belgian International at the end of the current season.



    The French club have been linked with a number of high-profile players since the start of the season, with the likes of Juan Mata and Yohan Cabaye still on the club's radar for the winter.



    Club captain Vincent Kompany joined the Citizens from Bundesliga side Hamburg in 2008.
