West Brom striker Shane Long has been linked with a switch to the Toffees during the January transfer window.

Shane Long has been linked to Roberto Martinez's side since his playing time with Reading F.C, and has his contract with West Brom expiring at the end of the season.  <br />

The Irish star has been at West Brom for the past three seasons scoring 54 goals and 201 appearances for the club.<br />

Everton are keen to add him to their ranks on a contract deal with the possibility in mind that Romelu Lukaku and Gerard Deulofeu might not extend their loan deals from Chelsea and Barcelona respectively.<br />

The 26-year-old brings in crucial Premier League experience and energy to the game and a few more years of game that is left in the striker.
