Nemanja Matic back to Chelsea?

Chelsea are looking to add former player Nemanja Matic to their ranks in January after talks with agent.

The 25-year-old Serbia international has matured into one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe and understandably all the top clubs are interested in signing him from Benfica with the Portuguese willing to deal at around £25million.<br />

The Serbian failed to impress at Chelsea was sent on 1 year loan to Eredivisie side Vitesse in 2010 and eventually sold to Benfica following the long deal.<br />

Chelsea riding high on a large budget  are looking to spend wisely with financial fair play in place. The implications could mean that Matic , defensive midfielder with Portuguese club Benfica, could arrive after the potential sale of David Luiz to Barca.<br />

Benfica however are ready to sell the player for the right amount following the losses at the club for successive seasons.
