Real Madrid striker Julio Baptista is being lined up by Juande Ramos as a potential signing for Tottenham. The Spaniard has managed Baptista before, during his time as Sevilla coach.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The move to Tottenham is sure to infuriate a few Arsenal fans, who felt they never saw the best of the Brazilian striker.

However, Baptista has recently shown flashes of brilliance for both Real Madrid and Brazil, as he helped guide the Brazilians to victory in the Copa America Championship in the summer.

Arsenal decided not to make the move for the Brazilian permanent after he proved disappointing for the Gunners.
