Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could be set to make a bid to secure the services of Barcelona forward Pedro Rodriguez during the upcoming transfer window.
The talented Spanish star, who has notched up an impressive tally of 14 goals for the Catalan giants this season, has been linked with a switch to the Premier League in recent weeks, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United keen on acquiring his signature in January.<br />
According to Spanish newspaper La Marca, Arsenal are considered front-runners for the player's signature, with the the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger having a substantial transfer budget to spend in the winter.<br />
In spite of Pedro's £125 million buy-out clause, the Gunners are confident of sealing a deal for the star, as he would be guaranteed regular first-team football in the World's elite football league.
