Norwich City have told Aston Villa that they will have no hope of completing a deal for their forward Wes Hoolahan. Villa manager Paul Lambert wants to raid his former club to sign the player.
However, the 31-year-old has been told that he is still very much in the club and Chris Hughton's plans and that there will be no January transfer move away for the player.<br />
Earlier in the week it was reported that Aston Villa made an £1.5m offer for Wes Hoolahan but it appears the talk of a move away is premature.
