Norwich City have told Aston Villa that they will have no hope of completing a deal for their forward Wes Hoolahan. Villa manager Paul Lambert wants to raid his former club to sign the player.
However, the 31-year-old has been told that he is still very much in the club and Chris Hughton's plans and that there will be no January transfer move away for the player.
Earlier in the week it was reported that Aston Villa made an £1.5m offer for Wes Hoolahan but it appears the talk of a move away is premature.
