Liverpool are reportedly preparing a move for Marseille midfield star Mathieu Valbuena during the winter transfer window.
The talented French international has been identified as someone who can provide the missing ingredients in the midfield setup to guide the Reds to a top four finish in the Premier League this season.<br />
A report from Mercato, the Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is looking at the prospect of landing the services of Mathieu Valbuena in the current transfer window, but will have to fight off interest from French giants AS Monaco, who are understood to be front-runners for the player's signature.
Valbuena has notched up 36 goals in 313 appearances for the French outfit until now.
