Arsenal tracking Barcelona youngster Toni Sanabria

Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger is considering a move for Barcelona forward Toni Sanabria in the January transfer window. The Spanish 17-year-old is very highly rated at La Masia but could make a move to England to the Gunners.

  • Arsenal have already taken young players from the Nou Camp in the past, with Cesc Fabregas amongst the names making the move to London and joining Arsene Wenger's team.<br />

    The Gunners' chief scout in Spain, Francis Cagigao, has been keeping tabs on Sanabria and is very impressed with what he has seen. With a 3 million Euro release clause in the 17-year-old's contract, Arsene Wenger is ready to make a bid soon to land the talented player.<br />

    Sanabria has recently enjoyed his first call up to the Barcelona B side and has impressed since moving to Barcelona's reserve side. Arsenal will have to do battle with several other teams for his signature, as Chelsea are also believed to be interested.
