Sunderland are surprise candidates for the signing of Cardiff City's impressive midfielder, Jordan Mutch. The player has been in inspired form for the Bluebirds this year, and Sunderland have taken note.
The Black Cats' boss Gus Poyet has deployed scouts to watch the player in action and has been sent a glowing report back regarding the player.
