AC Milan are considering a move for Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien on a temporary basis, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Ghanaian international has just featured in four games for the Blues this season, havig spent last term on loan at Real Madrid.
The reports suggests that manager Jose Mourinho could be willing to send Essien on loan for the rest of the season, in order to help the midfield star cement his place in the Ghanaian national said for next summer's World Cup in Brazil.
The Rossoneri are keen on securing Essien's services as he remains eligible to play in the Champions League.
