Tottenham misfit Hossam Ghaly looks finally to be heading for the exit door after the Egyptian midfielder confirmed he would start training with Al Ahly.
"We have given Hossam permission to train with his former club Al Ahly in Egypt as he prepares for the national team's Arabic Cup campaign as well as the African Cup of Nations tournament in January," said Damien Comolli, Spurs' sporting director.
A move to Birmingham fell through during the summer, and several Premiership sides were interested until Ghaly showed a worrying distain to Premiership training methods at Birmingham.
