  • Everton are short on strikers after summer recruit Arouna Kone was ruled out with injury and the club agreed to the sale of Croatian striker Nikica Jelavic to Hull City.

Although stoke would prefer a sale for the Trinidad and Tobago striker Everton may wait till the summer when they can snap the 29 year old for free.
