Newcastle looking at Spanish Center back

Newcastle United are looking at Spanish Center back Juan Cala who plays for Sevilla. The player is out of contract and there are reports that talks of a new contract have reached an impasse.

Newcastle are without the services of captain Fabricio Coloccini with a ligament injury for next few months and the Argentine could be off permanently in the summer.<br />

Toulouse as well as Anderlecht are two of the other clubs that are looking at the player who has represented Spanish under 19 side.<br />

The 24 year old has played 111 times for the Andalucian club and has scored eleven goals.
