  • Escude has been amongst several players persistently linked with a January move to Tottenham.

Escude's agent Bruno Satin told setantasports.com: “Players who have been linked to Spurs are part of our clients: Julien Escude, goalkeeper Andres Palop and Russian striker Alexander Kerzhakov, so we are following Spurs’ moves very carefully.

“Escude has always been very appreciated by Juande Ramos, but he signed a contract extension and is very happy in the city and in his football, so there is nothing to say for the moment.”
