Barcelona chase youngster Aymeric Laporte

French under-21 defender Aymeric Laporte is excited to have been linked with a move to La Liga rivals Barcelona but remains focused on his current job at Athletic Bilbao. The centre back is very highly rated in Spain.

When asked about a potentail move to Barcelona, Laporte responded: "The interest from Barcelona makes me happy because when you are little, you dream of playing for big clubs."<br />

The player has a 36 million release clause in his contract and Barcelona are rumoured to be ready to trigger it to secure the signing of the defender. When asked about such a clause, Laporte responded: "They would be willing to match my &euro;36 million clause? I do not know, frankly I cannot say anything."
