French Ligue 1 strugglers Montpellier HSC have confirmed that midfielder Remy Cabella will join Newcastle United in the summer.
The Magpies manager Alan Pardew was understood to be keen on adding the 23-year-old, to the Magpies' ranks during the winter transfer window, but Montpellier chairman Laurent Nicollin has now revealed that the star midfielder would make the move at the end of the season.
"We have an agreement with the leaders of Newcastle that I will not reveal," Nicollin said. "But it does not include a departure for Remy before June, it is a certainty."
Cabella has notched up 6 goals in 19 appearances for the former French champions this season so far.
