Inter Milan to win race to sign Arsenal target Mirko Vucinic

21 January 2014 - 07:00

Inter Milan look set to win the race to sign 30-year-old striker Mirko Vucinic from Juventus. Arsenal had been linked with a move to sign the forward but the Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger ruled his team out of the race.

  • Vucinic, who has been in Italy playing for Serie A teams since 2000, has been long linked with a move to England but in the past Premier League teams have been scared off by the reported 10 million Euro valuation.

The forward has had a relatively quiet season so far for the "Old Lady", having only taken part in 8 Serie A games but during those matches Vucinic played well, scoring two league goals.

The Montenegro international captain has been told that he can leave Juventus for a fee of around 7.5 million Euros.
