Villarreal defender interested in a move to Fiorentina

Villarreal central defender Mateo Musacchio would be interested in a move to Fiorentina according to his agent. The 23 year old has been one of the better performers for the club since their promotion to La Liga last summer.

The yellow submarine currently sit fifth just two points off a Champions League place.



The agent of the 23 year old had this to say about a potential move to the Tuscan outfit,



"The boy would be interested in the Fiorentina project, Marcelo Lombilla [Players representative] told Lady Radio."



"But we are waiting for the Viola to make a concrete proposal.



The player's contract expires in 2018 and his market value is around €18m-€20m – so that's how much they'd have to pay.



At the moment, its probably a difficult move. But in June, who knows?
