West Ham to make renewed bid for Ross McCormack?

27 January 2014 - 06:41

West Ham United are reportedly set to make an improved bid for Leeds captain Ross McCormack, as per The Daily Mail.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • The Hammers' initial offer of around £3.5m was rejected by Leeds United on Friday, as the Yorkshire club felt the offer was well below their valuation for the Scotland international.

However, a report from the Daily Mail claims that the Hammers will make a second transfer bid of £4m plus £1m in add-ons based on appearances.

McCormack, who has been capped 10 times by the Scottish national side, tops the Championship goal-scoring charts with 17 goals this season.
