29 January 2014 - 06:23

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly readying a move to sign Valencia striker Jonas during the current transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

  • The new Baggies manager Pepe Mel is keen on making a few signings of his own before the closure of the transfer window on Friday, as he aims to help the Midlands outfit beat the drop from the Premier League this season.

The report claims that Jonas is at the top of the Mel's transfer shortlist, and a move could likely in the next few days with the player open to a switch to England.

Jonas has notched up nine goals in 18 appearances for the La Liga club this season.
