Casemiro to go out on loan

29 January 2014 - 18:14

Spanish giants Real Madrid are willing to let Brazil midfielder Casemiro out on loan to get much needed game time. The 21 year old has struggled to get into the first team at Los Blancos.

  • The former Brazil youth international arrived in Spain initially on loan from Sao Paolo before joining permanently in the summer but has since only made four league appearances for the club.

Casemiro is currently the fifth choice central midfielder at Madrid behind Luka Modric, Asier Illarramendi, Xabi Alonso and Sami Khedira. And the club authorities are evaluating whether to let the midfielder leave the club in January.

Reports in Spain suggest that if Casemiro is allowed to go on loan La Liga clubs Malaga and Real Betis are interested. There is also interest from Italy with Inter and the player is also open to playing for cross town rivals Milan especially under new manager and former Madrid player Clarence Seedorf.
