Inter Milan plot bid for Man Utd outcast

29 January 2014 - 23:21

Serie A giants Inter Milan are hopeful of landing the services of Manchester United midfielder Nani in January.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Inter are believed to have made an enquiry over the availability of the Portuguese winger during the winter transfer window, as the club are keen on getting back to their glory days following the takeover by Indonesian tycoon Erik Thohir.

Nani could leave the Red Devils on a short-term loan to the Nerazurri, with a view to a permanent transfer next season, as he aims to play regular first-team football to seal his place in this summer's World Cup finals in Brazil.

Juventus were also interested in the 27-year-old, but were unwilling to match the player's wage structure.
