Juventus striker closing in on Arsenal transfer?

30 January 2014 - 11:47

Arsenal are reportedly set to complete the signing of Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic on a temporary basis before the transfer deadline on Friday.

  • Chelsea eyeing surprise move for former Arsenal striker
  • Man Utd favourites to sign £39m Brazilian midfielder
  • The Montenegrin captain failed to complete a transfer to Inter Milan on Wednesday on a swap deal, with Fredy Guarin moving the other way, and this has renewed Arsenal's pursuit for his signature.

Tuttosport reports that the Gunners are now front-runners for the services of the 30-year-old, who is expected to fly to the English capital on Thursday to undergo a medical with the North London club.

Vucinic joined Juventus from AS Roma in the summer of 2011.
