Arsenal are reportedly set to complete the signing of Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic on a temporary basis before the transfer deadline on Friday.
The Montenegrin captain failed to complete a transfer to Inter Milan on Wednesday on a swap deal, with Fredy Guarin moving the other way, and this has renewed Arsenal's pursuit for his signature.
Tuttosport reports that the Gunners are now front-runners for the services of the 30-year-old, who is expected to fly to the English capital on Thursday to undergo a medical with the North London club.
Vucinic joined Juventus from AS Roma in the summer of 2011.
