Championship outfit Barnsley have completed the signing of Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong on a six-month contract.
The 22-year-old midfielder failed to cement his place at the North London outfit and had been shipped out on several loan spells in recent seasons.
Frimpong has now sealed a permanent deal at Barnsley until the end of the season, after the clubs agreed on an undisclosed fee for the transfer.
The Ghanaian international, who joined the Gunners youth academy in 2001, made 16 appearances for the senior side in all competitions.
