Fenerbahce have made an offer for Senegalese striker Papiss Cisse. The forward has struggled to impress this season in Newcastle's first team and the Magpies are preparing for a bid from the Turkish side.

Cisse had an excellent first year in the Premier League with Newcastle last season, but has so far struggled to replicate the form that made him one of the division's most feared finishers.

Fenerbahce are preparing an estimated £5 million bid for the striker ahead of the end of the Turkish transfer window.
